Being an IT professional has it's occupational hazards. I had the standard blurred vision that plagued those who used the computer for long periods of time. That did not stop me from continuing on my pc. But lately something that happened really had an impact on me. I woke up one morning and guess what, I just had double vision, it was sudden and immediate. It just took the fun out of watching TV, I could not drive. Basically it made me realise how important my eyesight was to me and how much I have been taking it for granted. Luckily there was something that could be done... read on.......

after visiting the doctors and specialists they just could not put their finger on the problem. Finally they came to a conclusion that it was a weak eye muscle in my right eye that was giving me the problem. So the answer was to use a special prism lens which stuck onto my existing glasses. And I left the specialist with the advise that if my underlying health condition was ok, if there was any damage to the nerve it would heal on it's own. And guess what it did, but after changing my diet to include more fish, Goji (Wolf) Berries , Strawberries from the local supermarket and Pear and Berry juice. And not to forget with a little help from this nifty little free program tells me when to take breaks. So before you develop some kind of eye problem you might want to run this little application and take it's advise.

It prompts you with little reminders to take breaks.
