Hi Everyone... sometimes we just have loads of stuff to evaluate... But the crummy trial period is just too short. Luckily.... Windows Vista has a built-in script, by using that script you can extend the period of trial version to another30 days. With the help of this script you can extend the trial version of windows vista to 3 times greater which will equal to 120 days as of given time. This procedure is recognized as "rearming" it uses the script "slmgr.vbs" that is located: read on.....
The script is located in C:\Windows\system32.
This command will take 10 to 30 sec to complete. Upon completion of this command action you will get the message: “Command has been completed successfully. Restart the computer to effect your changes”.
Uses of slmgr.vbs Command
-dli used to display the information of license. -ato used to activate the Attempt instant. -sprt port locate the listening port of KMS host. -sdns the publishing of dynamic DNS. -cdns used to inactive the publishing of dynamic DNS. -cpri used to set the priority of KMS processor to low. -spri used to set the priority of KMS processor to normal. -rearm is a Reset activation timer and initialization which is used for recovery and imaging from the RFM. -xpr used to show the expiry date of KMS activation.
