Hi everyone just got my hands on Windows Vista. It is pretty cool running on my Fujitsu T4215 Core 2 Duo notebook. I like the nice aero interface... but woe and behold there are issues with the IP networking. It seems there are some changes in the way Windows handles DHCP. This results in incompatibility with some routers and network configurations. You will not be able to get an IP address or be able to access the internet though you are connected on the network. But Fret not I have some registry settings that might just help. read on......
Add this registry settings into HKey Class Local Machine. The GUID represents the GUID of the network interface card in your computer. WARNING: Only apply this patch if you are having problems do not apply it to all your network interfaces.
